Founded in November of 2013, Tearaparts, pronounced tair-uh-parts, is an Automotive Recycler specializing in the dismantling cars, trucks and SUV’s of all makes and models, 10 years of age or less.
We pride ourselves on two things: Quality and Customer Service.
If there is a way for us to test it, we will. Every vehicle that is processed thru our facility is processed the same way. First thing we do is put power to the vehicle and see if we can run and drive the vehicle and power up all the electronics inside the vehicle. From there we enter all the good parts into our inventory database along with pictures and descriptions of the parts. When we dismantle a vehicle the engine is drained and the oil is checked for contaminants. Every engine is then compression checked and if there is an issue with that test we then do a leak down test on each cylinder. Every cylinder then gets a few drops of oil in it to keep the rings from drying out during storage and shipping. All transmissions get their pans removed and the fluid inspected for contaminates as well as the pan inspected for debris. We remove the transmission filter and place the pan back on the unit.
We have two main operating principles here: Do to others as you would have them do to you and do the right thing. Nowhere are these more evident than in our customer service. All of our procedures here are designed to provide the best service possible. From next day delivery of most parts to tracking numbers included with your invoices. We don’t make promises we know we can’t keep. If we tell you a part will be delivered tomorrow, then it will be delivered tomorrow. If a problem with your order comes up we will call you immediately to let you know about it. Trying to hide or ignore a problem does nothing but make it worse.
We have found that it is impossible to have every part a customer needs, every time. To solve this problem, we are a distributor for two of the most established and trusted remanufacturers in the country. Our engines and transmissions are remanufactured to meet or exceed the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. What does that mean to you? It means that our Remanufactured Engines and Transmissions are the same or, in many cases, higher quality than what you would get from the dealership.
We also have a network of trusted automotive recyclers, the quality of whose parts we guarantee.
